Maureen Devlin, our Resource Manager, who sadly passed away at her home in Brussels on 24 July 2003. She had put up a brave fight against cancer for the previous 18 months, during which time her spirit and positive attitude have been a shining example to us all. A graduate from the University of Ulster, and post graduate from the Irish Institute of European affairs in Leuven, she had lived in Belgium for over 13 years, and had worked at Eurocity since May 1997. Your pain is finally over Your suffering has ended We know you live on In a new external existence Thank you for all your love Your friendship and trust Also over the boundaries of life We love you Maureen was an unique person, who was at ease and friendly with everyone she dealt with, from clients and consultants, to those who knew her socially. Her people skills were unmatched within our company, and within her wide circle of friends. It is tragic that she was taken from us at such a young age.
